Glory Be To The Father, And To The Son, And To The Holy Ghost!

The Holy BIBLE

The Bible Is Our Standard

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16,17

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (2 Peter 1:20,21).

Praise Dance Ministry

The Piney Grove Baptist Church Praise Dancers were born from a vision of Sister Phyliss McMillian. We "Visions" have experienced joy in releasing to Him and abandoning of self as we dance before His throne.  Many of us have always been able to sing, clap and shout our love and adoration for the Lord, but to step out by faith and dance is very different.  The enemy attacks our minds and we become concerned over our own ability or talent to dance and who may be watching us.

This is meant to inhibit us from showing love and joy to our King.  David knew what it felt like to lose himself in the presence of God.  When the ark was brought back into the city of David, he was so filled with joy over the return of the Lords presence, he no longer had a sense of self or cared who was watching.  It is more important to obey the Spirit of the Lord and be free in worship.

One of the requirements for our dancers is a  willingness to empty yourself, so that you can become full of Him.  Ability, training, talent, or gracefulness aren't requirements, just a heart that truly wants to worship the Lord.
