PASTOR'S LETTER

 

The past few years have been exciting times for Piney Grove Baptist Church. We have experienced an amazing in-crease in families with children and youth. This is a wonderful blessing for the life of the church today and Christian discipleship in the future.

 

Opportunities always bring challenges. As in the past, we are moving forward in faith and confidence that God will continue to enable us to meet needs of our current membership as  well as those who are joining in the years ahead. This will require a continued investment of ourselves both through adult leadership with children and youth, and financial resources in providing adequate facilities for expanded activities and Christian education. Because of this challenge we are embarking on another capital stewardship campaign.

 

Our focus now is on the next phase of our journey. We must be ready when God gives us His word to rise up and build. I want to encourage you to again catch the vision, stretch your faith and make the sacrifice. We ask that you consider sowing your time, talent and treasures into the next phase of our Crazy Capital Campaign, Remember, we want to "Preserve our Past as we Build our Future."    T. C. Our Financial Plan

Our Vision is "To raise a total of $5 million dollars over the course of 3 years and to move into our new building debt free." Three years allows most of us to make the adjustments necessary to support the project as God directs us. Everyone is encouraged to rise to the challenge and contribute as God opens your heart to give. Covenant to pray for the mighty outworking of God's will through our responsiveness to his leading. Ask specifically what He expects of you - both in terms of involvement and in terms of giving.

 

 

 

How you Can Help

 

Our vision will require Biblical stewardship. Each of us is being asked to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial commitment above our ongoing tithes and offerings. Every contribution-no matter what size or giving method-will work to preserve our past and build our future. Whether you choose to give a one-time contribution or make a pledge over time, remember that your gift is going to make a difference.

 

Please keep in mind that purchasing a building is just the start. Much like owning a home, maintaining and renovating a structure is an ongoing process.

 

 

The building fund will continue after the purchase and initial renovations and repairs are completed.

All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

To donate complete the pledge card below and place in the offering plate each Sunday or return to the address listed on Pledge card.

 

The first selection "Monthly Recurring Donations" is for donations over a period of time. A suggested monthly donation plan is as follows:

First Sunday - $1.00

Second Sunday - $2.00

Third Sunday - $3.00

Fourth Sunday - $4.00

Fifth Sunday - Seed Sowing Sunday

Total Monthly Donation - $10.00

 

The second option is a "One time Donation"
