The Bible Is Our Standard
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good
works." 2 Timothy 3:16,17
"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private
interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of
man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (2

- The Nurses Ministry will provide blood pressure checks each
Sunday from 10:30 am until 10:45 am. (A release form must be
signed to give consent for a blood pressure check)

** Prayer; Members of our prayer ministry will be available at the
church on Wednesday from 10:30 until 12:00 let friends and co-workers know there is a place to find
comfort. The church phone number is 427-6831. There is also prayer at
6:30 p.m. on Wednesday for our sick and shut in. If you have any
questions, please call Deacon Joseph McCree at 471-5500 or Minister
Lavern Etheridge at 368-2768.
** Children's Church is available on the 2nd 3rd and 4th Sunday
for the 10:45 Service. Ages 4-10, Nourishment for the body and soul.

*** Please remember that we have Noon Day Berean Bible Study each Wednesday, as
well as 7:00 p.m. Bible Study.
**** The Good Soil Ministry is dedicated to proclaiming the good news of
Jesus Christ and his love for all mankind. This is done through class
room teachings and monthly fellowships of the faith. The class is led by
Min. Renita Inmon; you are encouraged to join us every Thursday night at
6:30 p.m.
***** PGBC Food Bank Opens, The food bank will be open each Tuesday from
10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. And from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on the 2nd
Thursday of the month.
****** Choir Rehearsals are Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 1:00
p.m.; Choir rehearsal schedules will be given out on Tuesdays &
Saturdays for each Choir.
***** Anyone wanting to learn the Art of recording, beat making, music
production, Video editing, Video recording, Post Production, Protools,
Making Tracks, Live Sound Reinforcement, Stage Hand, Monitor mixing,
Front of house mixing, or any thing in the field of

morning worship service.

- Friday, February 17, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. Join the Junior
Missionaries as they explore Black History Trivia in the
Multi-Purpose Room.
- Saturday, February 18, and 25, 2012, There will be a workshop
for anyone interested in being apart of our New Mime ministry. Soul
Mime Ministry is open to all Men, Women, Boys, Girls, Young, and
young at heart. Living the Parable will take place at PGBC. Please
come out! There will be courses on History of Mime, Defining
Worship, and Ministry Effectiveness. For more information please see

- Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 10:45 a.m. Our Military
Appreciation Program will take place during 10:45 a.m. worship
service. Trustee Emmett Williams is Chairperson.

History Celebration Program. Information and exhibits will be
available on the bulletin boards in the Multi-Purpose room all

by Tuesday of each week. Announcement forms are located in the
Church office. These forms should be routed to Deacon Harry Lashley for
his signature. If you want a printed program and want it done by the
office staff, it should be turned in no later than the Monday
before the scheduled service.
